The Lozère can be divided into four regions: the Cévennes of the Mont Aigual at the Mont Lozère, the Causses Méjean and the Sauvetaire, the Aubrac and La Margeride.

The Lozère offers a variation of culture and landscapes; it is the region of the mounts and the forests, but as well the "land of the wells", with its many rivers, brooks and torrents. Here it's still possible to meet wolfs, bisons and birds of prey, re-planted into reservations.

Lozère is a charming department where nature is in harmony with the spirit of human beings; it's a paradise for all practisers of outdoor sports, such as mountain bike, hiking, rambling, horseriding, golf, canoeing, canyoning, etc...
