Breakages - please report any to us as soon as possible, giving us enough time to replace whatever is damaged before the next clients arrive.

Check out - we will inspect the gîtes berore you check out and if all is weIl your security deposit will be retumed to you within seven days.  

Cleaning - remember that you are contractually obliged to leave the gîte in a clean and tidy state. Failure to do so could lead to the forfeiture of some, or aIl, of your security deposit.

Flowers - please respect the natural environment and do not pick flowers. There are a number of relatively rare species of orchid growing around Le Bouvaou, please don't make their survival even more difficult.

Hall - the upstairs hall in the big gîte is not a suitable place for ball games.

Pets - clients who bring dogs are asked to clear up any mess in the grounds and keep them under control. They are not allowed by the pool. Please do not feed our own dogs, Evi, Chester and Max.

Rubbish - there are 3 eurobins at the top of our drive for normal rubbish. Please do not put glass in these bins, the nearest recycling bin is in Coulouma.

Septic Tank - please only use toilet paper which is "convient pour fosses septiques" and do not throw anything else down the toilets, such as sanitary towels/tampons, cotton wool, nappies or kitchen towel as these could easily block the septic tank (and trust us, this will not enhance your holiday). Also, please remember never to pour bIeach down the sinks or toilets.

Sheets & Bed Linen - you are contractually obliged to provide your own sheets and bed linen, so please use them and do not sleep directly on the protective undersheets. If you have forgotten to bring your sheets then we will be happy to hire some to you, please ask.

Sports - a boules set is kept in the main house. Please ask if you wish to use it. The playing grounds can be used for sports. 

Swimming Pool - please do not take any glasses, bottles or crockery near the pool or terrace. Plastic beakers have been provided in the gîtes so please use them. Please do not smoke around the pool and use ashtrays on the terrace. Always be careful when extinguishing cigarettes outdoors - fire is a serious hazard in the hills. The pool is 75cm deep at the end nearest the gate, and 1 metre deep at the other end, therefore for your own safety we advise against diving. Please keep young children closely supervised.

Visitors' Book - please take the time to write your comments, as they are helpful to us and future clients.

Washing Machine - there is a washing machine in all gîtes. There is also an iron and ironing board. The washing line is at the back of the large gîte.

Water - a scarce resource in these parts, so please do your best to conserve it.
